Spot UV is a clear gloss varnish added over your design. This works best on matt laminated stocks.
Embossing is an impression that’s pushed up (raised) from the stock. We use a brass die and counterforce to create this effect.
Debossing is a depression that’s pushed down into the stock. We use a brass die to create this effect.Please send your design across as there some limitation on line widths and sizes.

We have a 1970’s Heidelberg Windmill Platen that we use to apply our hot foil.
We buy our foils from FoilCo, Phillips Foils or Kurz.
We can foil up to A3 in house.

Special Digital Inks
Our HP Indigo 7900 digital press is widely regarded as the best in the industry. It has 7 colour channels and we can do some amazing things, even simulating some RGB colours using our ColourUp technique.

We have used our ‘ColourUp’ technique with great success on some photographers zines. It widens the colour gamut allowing for better skin tones and brighter greens and blues in some case.
HP make some selected spot colours so if you have a brand colour to match then we can but this for you and print single /5 colours.

Our digitaly inks are great for creating impact on colour stocks. We were pioneers here and have been running our digital white for over 12 years. The new HP Indigo 7900 we have runs digital silver very well and we can use this under CMYK colour to create any metallic colour. It works best on coated paper/cards.
The punchy fluorescent pink is great and the only fluorescent available from HP now. We have used it under some orange and red CMYK colours to great exceptionally bright results.

As a premium print provider we work with all of the best manufacturers and distributers. We can source almost any materials so always ask if you have a special requirement.
Bespoke Finishing
We have a range of finishing options for you. The simplest and sometimes most effective of these is to add a colour staple when binding.
We can also die cut in house and the example above shows a cover that’s cut to reflect the shape of the Design Museum roof in London.

We currently stock: Silver, white, black, red, gold and copper stitching wire (staples). There are other colours available.
We can also get various wire and coil colours. Wire binds are metal and the coils are plastic.
